Coulee Carnage recognized by the MS Society

Paul, Wallie & Kallie joined MS Walkers last night at the MS Society of Canada - Lethbridge Division's thank you event. Coulee Carnage was one of the only third party sponsors mentioned at the event.
When he went to the front to accept our certificate, Wallie was asked to explain what Coulee Carnage is:

So a big thank you to the MS Society for a lovely night! We greatly appreciate the recognition, and look forward to working with you again soon!

A big congratulations to Bobby Hoff of Lethbridge, Alberta, the winner of the Coulee Carnage and Worthy Painting army raffle! Thank you so much to everyone who participated; from the raffle alone we raised over $2200 in the battle to hammer out Multiple Sclerosis. In total, we estimate that we raised about $5000, well over our original goals. We couldn't have done it without the amazing support of our wonderful sponsors.

We will crunch our numbers and post the exact amount we raised for the MS Society of Canada soon. We will also post pictures, videos, and more.

Thanks for all your support!

Coulee Carnage 2012: It's Time

The event has arrived! We are excited to be setting up, getting ready, and preparing for the battle to 'Hammer out MS'. There are some amazing prizes lined up. With those, along with our silent auction and swag bag items, it doesn't  look like anyone is going to be leaving empty handed!

The raffle will continue until noon on Sunday (cash only) and the draw will be Sunday evening. We have raised over $1600, of which 100% goes to the MS Society of Canada. Thank you all for your amazing support!

That's it for now - time to go finish getting set up. We look forward to seeing some great sportsmanship, painting, and good times all around. For those of you who couldn't come this year - we look forward to seeing you next year!

So Close!

Well, we are only 10 days away from the biggest, best, and possibly only, Warhammer Tournament to support the MS Society of Canada: Coulee Carnage 2012.

Great news - so far the raffle has raised over $1600 for the MS Society of Canada. We would like to raise $2000 with the raffle overall, so lets buy those tickets!

And now, some items of business to address:
1.  For all you internet people out there, please note that paypal raffle entries will close on Friday, June 22 at noon. Any amounts deposited to our paypal account after that point will be a donation only.
2.  The Fantasy tournament takes place on Saturday, June 23 and the 40K tournament takes place on Sunday, June 24th. Both days are at Westminster Hall - 411, 16th Street North, Lethbridge:

3. Please remember that there will be a silent auction, concession, and re-roll tokens sold at the event. All sales will be cash only. Lunch will be provided, and is included with registration.

So, we are almost there! It is getting pretty exciting - in the meantime, buy up those raffle tickets before time is up and we will see you soon!

Oooooohhh... fancy stuff is in!

It's always exciting when we get a package for Coulee Carnage.  Today's was particularly interesting!  Thanks to Gemma Noon, the wonderful and lovely lady who runs the Chestermere Public Library and is responsible for the Black Library Expo coming up (http://www.chestermerepubliclibrary.com/blacklibraryexpo) we recieved a whole schwack of signed goodies!  Today we got:

From Dan Abnett:  Signed print covers for Thunder and Steel, Age of Darkness, Ravenor Returned, Prospero Burns, Titanicus, The Lost (DROOOOOL!), 2 copies of Malus Darkblade and an actual copy straight off the book of Brothers of the Snake!

Nicky Kyme was great enough to send signed print covers of Salamander, Firedrake, Nocture (all of his trilogy) and of the Fall of Damnos.

And that wasn't it!  We also recieved 4 tickets for the Black Library Expo to give away at Coulee Carnage.  Gemma also sent us audio book versions of Galaxy in Flames, Prospero Burns and A Thousand Sons.

Man oh man, there are going to be some happy nerds on June 23rd and 24th.

And please, check out the link and get tickets for the Black Library Expo.  It is going to be amazing and you can even meet us in person!
