Coulee Carnage recognized by the MS Society

Paul, Wallie & Kallie joined MS Walkers last night at the MS Society of Canada - Lethbridge Division's thank you event. Coulee Carnage was one of the only third party sponsors mentioned at the event.
When he went to the front to accept our certificate, Wallie was asked to explain what Coulee Carnage is:

So a big thank you to the MS Society for a lovely night! We greatly appreciate the recognition, and look forward to working with you again soon!

The event has arrived! We are excited to be setting up, getting ready, and preparing for the battle to 'Hammer out MS'. There are some amazing prizes lined up. With those, along with our silent auction and swag bag items, it doesn't  look like anyone is going to be leaving empty handed!

1.  For all you internet people out there, please note that paypal raffle entries will close on Friday, June 22 at noon. Any amounts deposited to our paypal account after that point will be a donation only.
2.  The Fantasy tournament takes place on Saturday, June 23 and the 40K tournament takes place on Sunday, June 24th. Both days are at Westminster Hall - 411, 16th Street North, Lethbridge:

Oooooohhh... fancy stuff is in!

It's always exciting when we get a package for Coulee Carnage.  Today's was particularly interesting!  Thanks to Gemma Noon, the wonderful and lovely lady who runs the Chestermere Public Library and is responsible for the Black Library Expo coming up ( we recieved a whole schwack of signed goodies!  Today we got:

From Dan Abnett:  Signed print covers for Thunder and Steel, Age of Darkness, Ravenor Returned, Prospero Burns, Titanicus, The Lost (DROOOOOL!), 2 copies of Malus Darkblade and an actual copy straight off the book of Brothers of the Snake!

Nicky Kyme was great enough to send signed print covers of Salamander, Firedrake, Nocture (all of his trilogy) and of the Fall of Damnos.

And that wasn't it!  We also recieved 4 tickets for the Black Library Expo to give away at Coulee Carnage.  Gemma also sent us audio book versions of Galaxy in Flames, Prospero Burns and A Thousand Sons.

Man oh man, there are going to be some happy nerds on June 23rd and 24th.

And please, check out the link and get tickets for the Black Library Expo.  It is going to be amazing and you can even meet us in person!

How are we raising money?

Well.. let us tell you!

Raffle:  Our biggest fundraising push has been the raffle we are holding in partnership with Worthy Painting.  100% of proceeds raised will be going to the MS Society.  As of this article we are at over 1200 dollars raised!

Entry Fees:  An undetermined portion of every registration fee will go towards the MS Society

Buy a Re-Roll:  We are allowing every player to buy re-rolls during their games.  It will be $1 per reroll.  A player can reroll once die, once per each players turn.   Potentially one game of fantasy raises 24 dollars and there will be 36 games in total!

Concession Stand:  ALL profits from the concession stand will go towards the MS Society

Silent Auctions:  We will have a number of silent auctions throughout the day with all money raised going to the MS Society.  Up for auction as it stands:  A Forgeworld Chaos Dragon, a bag from Battlefoam thanks to Ohiohammer, Chaos Dwarves from Showcase Comics, signed Black Library items and a whole bunch more!

Donations:  Players and visitors will be able to give straight cash donations if they like as well.   Though, really, you might as well enter the raffle and possibly get an army out of the deal!

So as you can see, we are looking at a wide range of ways to raise money for this great cause!  Hope to see you there!

RAFFLE! Worthy Painting and Coulee Carnage team up to Hammer MS!

Hey guys!

The big news we have for you is we are teaming with Worthy Painting to do a HUGE raffle! Worthy Painting is a superb and very well known UK based commission painting service. On their staff is Alistair Armes, a Golden Daemon winner. They known the plight of MS, the monumental amount of effort it takes to live with it, and have jumped on board to help us out! They are painting up a starter Blood Angels army, around 1000pts, with some special one off characters that are going to be mindblowingly amazing. Alistair himself will be painting this special miniature himself, so it will be nothing but best in the world quality.

You can WIN this army by entering a simple raffle! Tickets will be $10 Canadian Dollars for the first ticket and $1 for every ticket after, payable with cash, on paypal to, or through our paypal button on the "How to Pay" section of this website. Once you've paid the initial 10 dollars, every ticket will be one dollar, even if you paid that ten dollars a month previous! It's such a small amount for a chance to win this awesome Blood Angels army.

EVERY CENT we make on this is going directly to the MS Society of Canada . We are keeping absolutely none of it! When you donate, we will send you your "lot" number. On June 24th, immediately proceeding the 40k portion of Coulee Carnage, we will use to randomly draw a number... that number being the winner of this stellar army!

Multiple Sclerosis is a cause we believe HUGELY in supporting. Duane Truant, helping organize the event has MS and it caused him to go blind in one eye. My sister in law has it. Worthy Painting is helping because it has struck someone in their family. The outpouring of support has been boggling and you can only help by pitching in a few dollars. If we can get everyone who reads this to tell everyone they know who might want this army, to get everyone they know... etc, etc, etc just imagine the donation the warhammer community can give towards Multiple Sclerosis research! You definitely want to be a part of this!

PLEASE feel free to email us at if you have any questions regarding this whatsoever.

You can follow Worthy Painting on

You can follow us on Facebook as well and on twitter at @couleecarnage. As well we do have a website we are getting up and running at

Thanks! We look forward to seeing the amazing support we know this community can give out!
